It’s easy to keep your lips soft and supple. Even with cold winter winds, hot summer sun and air conditioning, keeping a basic routine going will ensure your lips are always kissable. Just follow these three simple steps and be rewarded with healthy, moisturised lips.

1. Exfoliate Your Lips

In a small container, combine a 1:1 ratio of mānuka honey and sugar. Mix and use your finger to gently apply to lips. Rub it in tiny circles all over your lips and then rinse off with water. This gets rid of any dead skin and reveals a fresh layer of skin underneath.

2. Use Sunscreen Often

This is so important. Lips are a sensitive area, with thinner skin than the rest of your face. Invest in a lip sunscreen that uses a mineral base to avoid harmful chemicals. Apply sunscreen before leaving the house, and reapply frequently.

3. Moisturise Your Lips

There are two strategies to keeping your lips moisturised -- applying moisture and keeping the moisture locked in. There are some fantastic products readily available that are all-natural and tremendously beneficial and our ManukaRx Lip Balm uses most of them.

Mānuka Lip Balm Additional Ingredients:

Shea Butter

Derived from the fruit of the shea tree, shea butter is rich in vitamins A, E, and F. It naturally offers UV protection of SPF 6. It also helps collagen production by nourishing the skin with fatty acids.

Sunflower Seed Oil

High in vitamin E, this oil helps with skin regeneration, which is ideal if your lips are already damaged. Sunflower seed oil helps to heal your skin faster. It also protects the skin from damage, with antioxidants that help neutralise environmental free radicals.

Cocoa Butter

Rich in oleic, palmitic and stearic acid, cocoa butter feeds the skin the nutrients it needs to grow healthy new cells.

Beeswax

To lock moisture in, beeswax is ideal. It forms a protective barrier, which means it doesn’t block your pores, which can result in skin problems like pimples and blackheads. Be wary of coconut oil and petroleum-jelly based products, which can block pores.

Keep those lips kissable, moisturised, and healthy the natural way for life -- try ManukaRx Lip Balm today!

I have never used that. Would really like to try it. As I have read each product.
Yes that will be good to win. Especially as my lips are so dry.
